Our Rector

jedWe Welcome Trinity’s New Rector

The Rev. Jed (Jedediah) Holdorph

Jed has been rector of St. Mark’s in Medford Oregon since September 2005.

He and his wife, Barb Morris, have two adult children, Becky and Adam. They share a love for the natural world and seek out opportunities to explore God’s wondrous creation. In his spare time, Jed also enjoys photography, reading, hiking, crossword puzzles, and camping.

Your first opportunity to meet Jed and his wife will be at the Condega Auction on Sunday September 7. His first Sunday with us will be October 19.

Jed earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona, in Tucson, in 1980, and his Master of Divinity degree from the Episcopal Divinity School, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in 1988.

Prior to his service as Rector of St. Mark’s he has served as rector or interim rector for congregations in Illinois, Missouri and New Mexico.

In addition to his congregational duties in the Diocese of Oregon he has also served as a member of the Diocesan Council, Diocesan Budget Committee, Deputy to the General Convention, the Freedom to Marry Task force and the Diocesan Board of Trustees.

Also in 2010 he was one of five candidates for Bishop in the Diocese of the Rio Grande.
