Parish Profile Slide Show
The Trinity Profile Committee presented a talk and slide show on some very important elements they have been developing for our “profile”—our Trinity self-portrait that is being prepared to use in our rector search.
Because some of you were not able to attend this informational meeting, the slide show is posted here so you can see what’s happening.
We also invite anyone to make comments to respond to what you see.
Please write any comments (legibly!) on a sheet of paper and drop it by the office by noon next Friday, February 16 th. It would be helpful to have your name and phone number in case we need to call you to clarify.
We will read these comments and use them to continue to develop the profile. Thank you all!
A Note about Mottos, Mission, and Vision Statements: A motto is a catch phrase that speaks to the sense of purpose of a group, and is usually a “shortcut” to the mission statement. The mission statement of the parish should be brief, memorable, long-lasting (that is, it doesn’t include short-term goals, etc.), and concise (no more than a sentence). A longer, more detailed, and immediate statement is a vision statement which would be more specific and altered as needed.
